 How to Set Up API Access for VersePumpX

Step 1: Access the following URL:
https://developer.x.com/en/portal/dashboard

You log in with your X account; this site belongs to X.

Step 2: Once you're on the portal, click on Create Project.

Step 3: Name your project, select a use case, provide a project description, then click on Next.

Step 4: Choose a unique name!

Step 5: Click Next, and you'll get your keys & tokens. But hold on, we won’t use them just yet. Go to App Settings, and at the end, click on User Authentication Settings.

Step 6: Click Set Up! On this page, under App Permissions, check Read and write and Direct message.

Step 7: In Type of App, select Web App, Automated App, or Bot.

Step 8: In App Info, enter the following:

• Callback URI / Redirect URL: http://localhost:9000
• Website URL: You can use the link to your profile.

Step 9: Once done, click Save! Then click Continue until you're back on the app's main screen. After that, go to Keys and Tokens.

Step 10: Click Regenerate for API Key and Secret.

• Copy the API Key and paste it in the indicated field in the VersePumpX app.
• Copy the API Key Secret and paste it in the indicated field in the VersePumpX app.

Step 11: Scroll down a bit and click Generate for Access Token and Secret.

• Copy the Access Token and paste it in the indicated field in the VersePumpX app.
• Copy the Access Token Secret and paste it in the indicated field in the VersePumpX app.

Step 12: You're done with this part! The rest is in the app.
